How many things a person can learn? The answer is: A lot! People can learn everything they want, but this learning has different reasons. Some people study for work, others do it to improve their IQ or for fun. I learned how to be a bartender just for fun of it. I might as well show off one day at a home party.
I took a 16-hour course for 4 days, 4 hours each lesson. This school can offer you 3 types of schedule: in the morning, afternoon and evening.

My group had 12 people which was perfect for me. We practiced behind the real bar with real bottles (inside was colored water), glasses, shakers, strainers, with loud music, dim light and a teacher who had an experience of being a bartender for about 7 years. She was a lot of fun.

In these 4 days we accomplished a lot. We learned how to make some basic drinks (from "Screw Driver" and "Sex on the beach" to "Cosmopolitan" and "Red Devil"), how to use tools, we talked about work attitude, responsibility and memorizing cocktails by using funny abbreviates. For example, you can memorize the ingredients of Cosmopolitan martini by remembering this:

Absolutely -   goes for Absolut vodka
Cool -              Citron (citron Absolut vodka)
Trendy -          Triple Set
Little -             Lime
Coctail -         Cramberry

In conclusion I want to say that I had a lot of fun. Even if on the 1st day my hands were shaking a little because of the absolutely new environment, by the 4th day I felt that I was ready to go to work at the bar.

- They provide you with an ID and you can come back any time and practice for free.

- Helps you with job searching as well ;)
